The BEYA Hall of Innovation featuring BEYA's Leading Voices

The BEYA Hall of Innovation

The BEYA Hall of Innovation is a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) exhibition that will remain open during the 2018 BEYA STEM Conference. Students will  view ground-breaking research from  historically black college and university (HBCU) Innovators and selected corporate partners.

The BEYA Hall of Innovation will be the backdrop for an event featuring  dynamic HBCU Innovators, and members of the Career Communications Group (CCG) Hall of Fame. CCG Hall of Fame honorees are past Black Engineer of the Year Award BEYA) winners who have have gone beyond the call of duty in providing inspiration, motivation, and transformation in the lives of next-generation STEM leaders.

An Evening with BEYA’s Leading Voices

The BEYA Leading Voices event will take place on Thursday, the first night of the 2018 BEYA STEM Conference.

BEYA Leading Voices is  where the circle of opinion and editorial commentators in the new US Black Engineer and Information Technology magazine section come to life. The experts will present thought-provoking, innovative concepts to mark the opening of the BEYA Hall of Innovation. 

After welcoming remarks from members of the BEYA Alumni Committee, Vic McCrary, vice president for research and economic development at Morgan State University, will formally open the BEYA Hall of Innovation.

In addition to research from HBCU Innovators and industry partners, there will also be ground-breaking research from Black of Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) winners and Career Communications Group (CCG) Hall of Fame honorees.
