How do I become a Most Valuable Partner?

There are 3 very simple steps: Be a professional at what you do, do lots of what you love, and work with us! Really, there isn’t a long checklist of things you need to do to become an MVP. The best MVPs really excel in step #2; they LOVE what they do. Whether you’re a great speaker, have a talent in blogging, lead a top technical community, are a social media superstar, a top website developer or cyber security expert or have a totally different and cool way to share your passion for our products and services, we’d love to know more! GUIDELINES FOR MOST VALUABLE PARTNERSHIP RECOMMENDATION:

  • MVPs are a minority owned business enterprise that is owned or managed by a member of a minority owned group. This means that the business is owned or managed by at least 51% by such individuals.
  • MVPs have successfully partnered with, have provided quality work, hold true to the CCG Core Values, and are in good standing with CCG.
  • MVPs have delivered excellent customer service experiences in their interactions with our clients.
  • MVPs do not raise marketplace concerns and are in compliance with applicable laws.
  • MVPs will provide complete business information including name, location, contact information, and products/ services.
  • MVPs will provide industry standard certification/licenses.
  • CCG will create a press release announcing your company as a subject matter expert in your field.
  • CCG will promote MVPs on the CCG website and to our clients on your behalf.
  • Your company will be recognized as an MVP at the WOC & BEYA Conferences.
  • MVP companies will receive MVP logos. The MVP logo is made available to MVP companies for use on their website, in customer proposals, on letterhead, on business cards, within marketing materials -- The logo is your “brand of excellence!”
  • MVPs will submit any materials to CCG that reference or contains CCG recommendation for prior approval.
  • MVPs may add the CCG logo to their website only. Be transparent and declare the partnership with CCG.
  • MVPs may not represent themselves as members of the CCG Company or may not speak on behalf of CCG.
  • MVPs will accurately represent themselves and their company trade. If the company moves into a new area, the MVP will inform CCG and request a renewal for the CCG MVP status.


Customer Due Diligence:

The customer due diligence (CDD) measures to be taken are as follows:

  • Identifying the customer and verifying that customer’s identity using reliable, independent source documents, data or information.
  • Identifying the beneficial owner, and taking reasonable measures to verify the identity of the beneficial owner such that the institution is satisfied that it knows who the beneficial owner is. For legal persons and arrangements this should include institutions taking reasonable measures to understand the ownership and control structure of the customer.
  • Obtaining information on the purpose and intended nature of the business relationship.
  • Conducting ongoing due diligence on the business relationship and scrutiny of transactions undertaken throughout the course of that relationship to ensure that the transactions being conducted are consistent with the institution’s knowledge of the customer, their business and risk profile, including, where necessary, the source of funds.
