The conference offers both valuable career networking opportunities and hosts prestigious award ceremonies, which have earned widespread praise. Attendees have the opportunity to meet and learn from executives representing Fortune 500 companies that are committed to diversity and to the advancement of women in the workforce.
The Women of Color STEM Conference builds the STEM pipeline and expands influence into the pre-college student community in front of those who might not otherwise aspire toward a career in science, technology, engineering, or math due to social and economic barriers. Career Communications Group partners with STEM-related businesses, military personnel, and universities, uniting pre-college students through conference participation. Students share in hands-on, competitive activities that engage and challenge them to consider STEM careers as real options.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Pre-College Program moves online. Check back later for information about how to participate.

In today's COVID-19, we want to ensure that you stay safe. This is why we've opted to host this year's Women of Color STEM Conference entirely virtually. You have the option of participating in one of two ways: with a campus coordinator or on your own.
If you choose to participate with a campus coordinator, the fee is $25 that you will pay at the time of registration. You will be required to complete certain activities during the conference to be eligible to receive a refund or a credit towards February 2021 BEYA conference in Washington, DC.
If you attend on your own, the cost is $50 and is non-refundable.
Therefore, it is highly suggested that you attend with a campus coordinator. If you need help identifying a campus coordinator at your institution, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
